Seems like early spring this year as well!

Don't be fooled. Warm weather like last year...... I prepped the bike late March & rode April 1, then rain, rain, rain, for the balance of the month. All in all a great season though and 2012 looks the same.

This has been my first ever full 12 month riding season in Toronto!!!! The most I put the bike away was for 2 weeks over the Christmas break....I didn't have to commute anyways.

I rode pretty much 4 out of 5 commuting days per week through February and I'm so chuffed!

wow! do you wear heated gear?

I rode every single week as well, but had to park on the first week of Feb due to insurance coming short, and I don't have heated gear.

Long johns/thermal layer was the best purchase of 2011 for me, well maybe best after my bike =)

I remember a few years back playing basketball in shorts and t-shirt on a warm, sunny day in march... and then watching about a foot of snow getting dumped a few days later. I haven't trusted March since then... that sneaky little bastard

No insurance until April 1st T__________T

This same thing happens almost every year... maybe not this warm, but people get excited and then WHAM!! we get hit with a big whollop of snow in April! I hope it doesnt come, but it always happens!

I recall doing my M2 over a weekend in April, that included BOTH rain and snow (it snowed all day on testing day).

Screw April, bike stays comfy and cozy until May.

yeah.... i wouldn't bust out the tank top shorts and flip flops just yet

Rode the new bike to work for the first time today. I was a little too excited as I only grabbed my bike key forgetting my office keys (which sit on my car keys) so had to ride home and get them to open up. Heated grips FTW!

I have this style on my bike,

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Motorcycle-H...rcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19cdf76dbd
and for the cost they are amazing. Commuted to wark right up till end of december and they worked wonders.
And they fit under the grips on your bike so you can used whatever grips you want and have hi/lo settings.

They make gripping on the handle bars toasty warm. Can't really shed any light on installation as they came installed by the previous owner.

Jerks. Still waist deep snow up here, it was -14 or something yesterday and almost as cold today.
Headed to Norway this week, get back at the end of march and have at least 4 days of work to do on the bikes to get them ready.
