Riding Mexico

The sheer scale of crime down there makes anything in Canada or Toronto pale in comparison. When did you last time see the Canadian military coming to Toronto and getting into a shootout with Toronto's police forces? Or how about a bunch of gangsters armed better than local police forces taking over entire prisons and releasing ALL prisoners? Come on man, Toronto? Please, give me a break will you. Entire police forces in certain places in Mexico are 100% corrupted and controlled by the mafia, so much that Mexico has to send in the military to stop the Police forces and clean em up. **** like this doesn't happen in a place like Canada.
Two different worlds man, that's just the way it is, it's a fact of life.
I am pretty sure we are talking about the Mayan Riviera specifically and not Mexico in general. Would I go to Mexico city? No way as the kidnapping rate for tourists is very high, would I go to Mayan Riviera? Absolutely.

I think you can be smart enough to stay within context of the conversation? No?

Try the same thing at night.
If I was alone at Jane and Finch, I would feel damn right cozy if compared to being alone at Playa Del Carmen.
I have been in both places many times at night, can tell you that I couldn't wait to get the hell out of finch. On playa car I stayed and walked around the plaza, went to a couple of bars and walked there at like 3am.

I know how unsafe Latin American countries can be, I stopped going to Caracas because how unsafe it is. Mayan Riviera on the other hand it isn't

I can only speak to my experiences

..and you are a white short guy, no way you would feel cozy on Jane and finch ;-)

Tulum looked completely scary from my bus.
I sure as hell would not want to walk around that city at night being a small white guy.

Having said that Mexico is beautiful, just dont mess with the mexicans they are usually friendly people!!View attachment 27112View attachment 27113

If Mexico is such a beautiful place then why did you leave it and come to another country? Why do literally MILLIONS of people risk their lives to run away from "beautiful" Mexico, I doubt they do it because it's such a beautiful place to live in.

I've been to Acapulco about 6-7 times years ago. You couldn't pay me to go back today. Mayan is nice if you stick to your resort. Ride a motorcycle down there? No thanks. Adios muchachos!

The ROAD WARRIOR????, you are always complaining about the weather, afraid of going to Mexico, afraid to ride when is raining, you shouldn't call yourself a biker or a rider, why dont you just stay home with your mom so she can protect you.

Guys I am Mexican, born and raised, I live in Toronto now for the last 10 years, and let me tell you every time i go to mexico I ride Harley davidson there, most of my friends have bikes. I know some parts of Mexico are Dangerous, but no Playa del Carmen. I lived close to Mexico in a city called Queretaro where the biggest Harley Davidson Dealership of latin America is, they have rallies every year bringing thousands of bikes there and its considered one of the safest cities in Mexico.
Of course if you act like a ****** in Mexico of course you are going to get in trouble with the Mexicans lol

I think you should edit it again because you don't sound enough like an ignorant dick.

Did he leave his country? Yes he did. Are millions of people running from Mexico in search of a safer and better life? Yes they are.

Prove me wrong if you can, let's hear it. If you don't then you are in a silent agreement with me.

I hear the clinging of a padlock in the distance inching closer to this thread.

And that has what to do with whether a country is geographically beautiful?

I went shopping in Tulum 3 years ago. It wasn't too bad in the day, a lot of people obviously, makes you somewhat paranoid. Me and my friends ended up staying later to enjoy some the of " night " life. Not the best idea. Needless to say 3 of my friends ( 5 of us including me ) got jumped and had his wallet and money stolen at knife point. We went back to the bus stop to get picked up to go back to the resort, and almost got jumped again before they noticed my friends had already got beat up, and realized they couldn't possibly have anything else to offer. When we got back to the resort my friends were furious ( obviously ) and wanted to contact the authorities, to which the people at the Mayan Riviera said, " Don't even bother, accept your losses ".

Riding through that area with a decent motorcycle, and out of Country license plates, not the best idea in my opinion. That has win win written all over it for the locals, with very little to lose with a few friends at your back.

I got jumped in Madrid, very safe city according to people. **** can happen anywhere.

Sorry to hear, I also got jumped in marguarita island, I was walking to the hotel at night with a girl from Montreal I meet at a bar and they put the gun on her head.

both times I didn't feel safe, both times was way to late to be walking around. When you are out on vacations no matter where you have to use common sense
