Just an observation.. I know it's more comfortable for some guys on long highway rides on a cruiser to have your feet up on the front pegs to stretch out and relax a bit, but i just saw a guy riding down a residential street and his feet were way up on the front pegs with just the back of his heels making contact with the peg and his feet in a spread open position sticking outwards from the bike, he looked ridiculous, like a duck or a bird flapping it's wings lol. I supposed taller guys might find it more comfortable to ride like that but he wasn't tall looking so it wasn't a fit issue. He looked like he just thought it looked cool. But riding on a side street at 40kmph with your feet up like that looks really silly imo.
I just don't see how it's comfortable, my bike has cruiser styling but a standard riding position, and even though it feels a little cramped i have never used the front pegs even on long highway rides, it just feels awkward. What happens if you suddenly have to emergency brake and need both brakes, or have to put a foot down quick? That extra second or two that it takes to pull your relaxed legs back from up there could make a difference.
