Daytona 200

Ok.. heading down to Florida and I want to watch the Dyatona 200...
can anybody who has been there before, suggest a good spot to watch it from.

There seems to be a lot of seats at the start finish line... but I am assuming it would be pretty much a blur at 190+mph

Never been but the front straight last year would have been a great spot to watch some races.

try to get seats in the winston tower area, you can see the whole track and you are sheltered from the rain / sun. there is a slight blind spot behind the pits.

I was there last year for the imfamous Daytona 150! Actually just west of the Start/Finish line is not bad. The seats are far enough from the track and high enough that you can see most of the track. At full speed you can still see and get pictures around the Start/Finish.

The best part is being able to ride your own bike for free in the inners of the race track! There you get a real appreciation for the banking. It is so steep that you could only crawl up it on hands and knees.
When a bike goes around the banking and you are in the infield it is like you are in a helicopter looking down onto the bike.
Worth going for the experience.

However, I do not think I will go again as you get an equal if not better view on TV. The Supercross is great and you can see all of it.

Give yourself an afternoon to see all the displays & vendors on the premises outside the immediate track. Get there early to book a demo test ride. Have fun! You might even see a bikini bimbo or 20 also.

You can also have parts, tires, luggage, exhaust systems....installed there on site.
