6 AM and its 11 degrees, going up to 16....

I saw the weather report last night and decided to ride today. I usually just TTC it because I'm so tired in the early morning (leaving at 7am). But it was totally worth it today. It'll be warm tomorrow as well but then rain for the rest of the week.

took the bike to work too... left a few min. early so I can rack up a few kms on my way to work.
homebound is a different story... hehehe... it was a nice day kids... tomorrow again :)

I was pleasantly surprised this morning. Was a bit nervous that there would be frost on the ground then warm up later. Left my house at 7 and I was sweating with all my layers. lol Did a nice 11 hour ride today:)

It was GORGEOUS riding weather today! Rode all over the place then met up with Snowberry for Birthday sushi :D Was even nice riding after sundown.

Black Hawks.?? Nah spent the day wandering buying cold weather riding gear - scored some good stuff too :D

still annoying missing the warm days.

It didn't even occur to me to shop for riding gear when I was there last year. But I think my best friend would have kicked my *** for gear shopping if I wanted to. She doesn't ride. Boo!

Chicago is such an awesome city. I'd definitely go back. Have fun! Don't be bummed about missing the few warm days here.

Another nice ride to work today. Chance of rain later but the ride in was worth it. Forecast is 16 and sunny tomorrow and I'm off so expect to see my taillights flying by on the roads up north.

It was raining when I came in to work, this morning. Not much, but some. More than Environment Canada's website said that it would (ie. none) though. A rare occasion when someone at The Weather Network must have actually looked out the window and gotten the current weather right.

I ran into a few rain drops on the Gardiner around 7:20am or so, but not enough to thwart me, and the temperature was great, lined jacket, regular riding gloves and dress pants/shoes and I wasn't cold at all. Didn't hurt that the Eastbound Gardiner was a parking lot. As long as it's not pouring for the ride in as I don't want to show up like a drowned rat.

I've been off riding the last week and a half (stupid aging joints!), and was worried I missed the last of the season.
Got in the habbit of taking the GO, and felt like a fool for having missed yesterday.

Rode in today and, even with the bit of rain, it felt glorious!

A weatherman (Or lady :D) is the only job you can be wrong everyday and not get fired.

The best was when I was listening to the local weather one day this summer and they said there was a 0% chance of rain and I looked out the window and it was pouring lol.

Usually it's The Weather Network, that's so incredibly wrong. I figured that Environment Canada's building at least had windows, but I guess they had the curtains drawn today. I think that my problem is I leave the house before they do their morning updates. Stupid rain.
