A friend of mine invited Suzi and I to ride out to a campground where she was going white water rafting with some friend over the weekend, so we rode up on the Saturday to enjoy some early fall colour, and to accompany them for the ride home the following morning.
It was Suzi's first go on the Suzuki Bandit, so I'd taken an old magnetic tank bag base and sewn on some faux fur for a rest for her atop the tank. She's still secured to me via the harness, but now she has a comfy perch on top of the tank, and much less vibration and noise than on the KLR. It was a win win once she got used to the noise, vibration, gearing and ride characteristics of the Bandit vice the KLR. And having a group of people at a campsite along the Ottawa river spells J-O-Y to her.
