I only squid when it's hot out.

I refer to a rider as a squid if they ride on the street in such a way that endangers their life, or the lives of other around them. E.g., riding quickly on highway shoulders to get around cars, lane splitting when traffic is moving, etc. I hear gearless riders being referred to as "squidding" or "going/riding squid."

I don't think there's any one definition for the term anymore.
