Lets see your track/race videos!

The undertail facing tire is really cool, I've never seen that angle before. Suck's that you can't really see much of the track layout from that view but still cool none the less. I'd recommend on the angle from the front of bike facing your right leg/rear brake, to try and move the camera more towards the front of the bike to get a wider angle on your knee skimming the surface. Not sure what surfaces you have to get the suction cup connected but worth a try? My lowside on turn 6 was caught from that same angle:

I did a video similar to yours with different angles on one lap. All filmed with a single go pro throughout the day:

Ya I think if I just moved it up a little it would show more, I had it as far foreward as it would go. I'm going to try a few different ones next time...and make sure it's recording this time.

I can't believe that the camera picks up the slider noise.

Yeah I thought that was pretty cool too. Was using the non waterproof case so it picks up a bit more audio. I had one hell of a contraption on the front of the bike to get that angle (used most the attachments from the motorsports kit). Actually mounted the camera upside down and had to flip the video on the editor when I got home.

Video of my crash at Mosport - Turn 2 yesterday. Regular then slo mo.

First time ever in the grass, no dirt experience, didn't know how to turn it since it seemed super slippery and downhill. And other than you everyone told me that was the right thing to do not to let it go down in the dirt to avoid having the bike flip.

How'd you end up shifting up two gears between 1 and 2? Is that what you usually do or were you distracted?

That was my first time at Mosport, and I crashed on the second lap of round 2. In round 1 I followed someone, so I was still just figuring out the track/layout. At the end of the day I was going through turn 1 in 3rd and going up to 4th before turn 2, then to 3rd for the turn.

Nice superman impression lol!! Looks like you went in a bit wide and hot, I know the edge comes up quick when you crest the top!! Glad you're ok

Thanks, no injuries. Just wide, not too hot. I chose to go in the grass rather than leaning it in as I figured I'd just slow down and stop and then rejoin. Unfortunately I ran out of room/skill to maneuver it in the grass. Plus the downhill didn't help. I rode the rest of the sessions so at least I didn't lose the day.

Not to put words in his mouth, but I think Shaman was asking why you didn't try to make the corner while you were still on the asphalt...

I'd be surprised if you actually need 4th gear between 1 and 2. I'd try to keep in in third and make it one less thing to have to worry about.

That is such a nice track. Always wanted to see the scenery around it but never thought of using the camera. haha. Now you need to take a vid pointing the other way so we can see the rest.
I have it. Just need to edit and upload it.
