The frame is alreaqdy chem stripped.

Looking for a polyester Neon yellow blend, or polyester hybrid. prefer a single coat application.

PM Zed-x-Rex, he'll give you a decent price, but more importantly, he will do the job properly.

is there a good powder coater in Durham (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby)? Good price per rim? thanks

There is a place called Bright Side Engineering at 701 Brock Street in Whitby. I've seen some stuff that he has done and it looks really good but he is a little bit on the expensive side

ABC Powder Coating in Port Hope is a good choice. They do a good job and the price is reasonable. They have done many parts for me and I've always been pleased. A lot of the VRRA guys use them as well.

There is also Amara in Pickering. I had him do a set of fork legs but he just put the powder on over the peeling laquer and it all peeled off in strips a couple of weeks. I dont think he knew what he was doing and wouldn't re-do them for me. I was dealing with the owner Brian.

Any idea how much ABC charges per rim? thnx

Total Coatings in Stoney Creek did my rims in fluorescent orange (makes Repsol orange look brown by comparison). Two years and many many tire changes later they have stood up very well.

Brightside did my frame and swingarm for my 1973 CB750 rebuild.
It looks great, and didn't cost an arm and a leg.
They actually borrowed my frame for the bike show as a demo it looked so good restored.

Great guys to deal with...and they have a ridiculous range of colors available.
