While I'm glad to see the FZ6R and FZ8 on the list, i'm disappointed at the lack of WR250X, as well as the new Super Ténéré.
I was really hoping to get up close and personal with the WR250X :(

Same here, I really wanted to take a look at that Super Ténéré because I cant decide if I like the look of it. The face kinda throws me off. The WR250 is a dual-purpose right? I was really surprised that there wasnt a scooter or dirt bike on the list.

Just a heads up, most of the bikes on this demo tour require a full M license as unfortunate as that is for a lot of you. :(

no R1 this year either??? WTF YAMAHA!

Agreed, I was a little shocked to, but my guess is that they arnt bringing it because its Yamahas second most expensive bike the most expensive being the FJR1300 which isnt going to be there either :(

Kinda disappointed that this is the same day as SOAR, but then again, looks like Yamaha still needs an M2 for the bikes I want to try. Guess I'll try next year.

As much as I like the R1 if I can't ride one I won't be buying one. I took an S1000RR for a demo and loved it so most likely that is the next saddle my arse will be in.
I am only 1 person but how many others will overlook the R1 because they can't try before the buy.

Yamaha -1, BMW +1

And you can pass that along to the Yamaha rep. I know its not his/her decision but Yamaha hasn't had the R1 on demo since 2009.....or maybe even 2008.

Probably the FZ6r, FZ8 and the R6 will fall under sport...even though the fz6r and fz8 aren't true sport bikes

You say that Yamaha requires an M licence for their sport bikes. Is the FZ8 considered sport?

Yup. So is the FZ6R. Now you know why I'm not going. It's a stupid policy that Yamaha has and that they need to change. If Suzuki and Honda can let us lowly M2 holders on their big bikes, so can Yamaha.

Of course, I'm more bitter about the fact that they didn't disclose this to me last year when I called them to ask about their policy. I was specifically told that M2 would be fine. When I showed up, I was turned away. That's what upset me most.

Overall, this demo will have less people. But it's the manufactures fault, o wait, no it's not, it's also Brampton Powersports (All bikes from Brampton PowerSports, excluding the VStar 250 require an M license) Um, last week people road the gsxr 750 but now they can't even ride a fz6r / fz8. Suck for them...

*But, I went last year, Kahuna had a Yamaha Demo Day, and got to ride the yellow FZ6r with my M2 that was there and the WR250X which won't be at this one.

Just wanna confirm....an M2 is not enough to ride an R6 on this Demo Day?

I only ask as a buddy of mine is thinking of getting a new R6, but he only has his M2.

Correct, you need a full M. AND CALL UP BRAMPTON, TELL THEM THIS. The dam market of potential buyers have M2's I think.

+1 In the last year I've taken CBR600, CBR1000, ZX10R, Daytona675, Ducati 848, BMW S1000RR all with an M2. Yamaha needs to get stuff sorted out!

GP specifically required M on two previous demo days.
Not the Ducati run demo day, GP has an 848 on the floor you can demo
