I don't get it, the demo ride was posted on here about 2 weeks in advance and it's in the GTA where there is a crap load of riders. Obviously, everyone knew about the demo ride and it was gonna be busy. If you got there at 10am or 11am or what ever, I don't see why your angry you didn't get to ride a bike you really wanted, specifically the GSXR's (people in the other thread posted they were angry or disappointed) - It's different if you got there at 8:45 or 9am and there was a line up, well your just SOL if you had to wait till the 3rd or 4th ride to take it out. 15min less in bed could have saved you 2 hours in waiting time.
Improvements needed - More food, ran out and I wanted to get a hotdog at 12:30 - 1pm (hotdogs gone, but so many buns left inside)(should be free, even with a optional donation, some people feel bad there is a sign there, and see others able to donate - some people didn't have cash or change). Yes, I agree the more popular bikes should be doubled. But then again, everyone's popular bike is different and when have you gone to a demo ride where there are more then one of the model...Make the effort in the morning and arrive a bit earlier, it's nice enough the dealers actually organize the demo rides. (it dose suck they don't don't usually happen at smaller dealers but it makes sense as staff needed to run the event, more exposure in the gta is much easier at bigger dealers. ***Side note - talked to a guy on the showroom floor, didn't know anything about atv's. You have a customer come in who knows way more then a sales rep, not good. Products you offer, your staff needs to know each and ever one of them (bikes, atvs, seedoos, snow blowers, generators) or if they don't know, hand the customer off to someone who knows.
The good - Organized sign up and ride (microphone would be ideal as mentioned above because its such a big place), multiple models offered (even if you didn't get the one you wanted) - A lot of people had so much fun on the DRZ400sm apparently and they didn't even think of riding it, but they signed up for it.
Good overall day, came with a purpose, woke up, and road what I wanted 2x, that's all I care about - the ride.
