I don't want a single penny of mine going to MADD. I'm out.
It seems like you're underplaying how big of a deal it is. Sure, people will go even if it is MADD. But there could also be a lot more people if MADD wasn't the charity receiving the proceeds. Since you're on stunters inc., I'd assume you have more influence than the average biker does. Why not try to do something about it?It sucks that some people will not attend just because of the charity it donates too, but the show must go on...I didnt even know there was any issues with MADD until I read a thread just like this one about it last year.....Not sure why they didnt make any changes as far as the charity...Im sure if no one went because of it they would change, but it seems 1000+ people still go so its not broken why fix it.....

There's clearly enough disapproval for it to matter, no? It seems like the whole point of donating is lost if it goes to a charity/organization that doesn't have a decent record of putting the money to good use.
For every person who objects to MADD there are 5 who support them, not knowing the history behind them. After all; who wants to be seen as coming out in support of drunk drivers?
+1 Majority of people just have no clue what is up with MADD, and they have some other great sponsor's too.
My friend works at Kahuna, and says they have been going through flyers like crazy. Im not going to be surprised if this year has the largest turn out yet....As far as stunt shows that I attend go, its the largest event we do every year....And I really look forward to it every year...
