Mount Washington

That was really cool ! I went up that road two years ago on my ST1300 and believe me the road surface is a lot bumpier and rougher than it looks on the video. It's a great ride up that mountain but definately not for the faint of heart.

The Wife and I will be heading there in about 2 weeks. We figure as long as we take our time and just focus on the road and not what might be to the left or right (especially on the way down) we'll be fine. Just have to hope for good weather, they won't allow motorcycles to go up if the winds are very strong or if its raining on the top. Have met riders who've gone 5 times and been turned away each time, so fingers crossed. You can park at the bottom and take a van ride up which is what we'll do if the weather does not cooperate. I'm not going to miss the chance to go up as I'll not likely be back that way any time soon!

I always just assumed that mountains had unique names, is this the mt washington on Vancouver Island near Comox/Courtenay?

Many I you have ridden your bikes up Mount Washington so I'm sure you'll be as impressed with this video as I was. I believe driver is motocross pro. I believe it took me 20-30 minutes to make the climb with my bike. Travis did it in just over 6 minutes.
