Is it worth dressing up/customizing a 250?

LOL given the slew of responses, it's pretty clear that nobody understood the point you were trying to make.

Xtina, as said previously, it's your bike. Do the research and see which mods will yield the most worthwhile results to you and go from there. I'm not familiar with the CBR250, but if it's anything like the ninja 250, you may want to look into a jet kit.

dunno if a jet kit is going to do any good since the Honda is FI.....

I'm jus sayin :lmao:

Since it's such a new bike, I don't know that you'll find much that's out for it yet anyway.

I'll give you the POV of someone who does believe in customizing a 250:

I'm perfectly happy with my 250 and I'm keeping it 'til it dies on me. But that's because I don't need more than that. I'd love a 600, but I don't need it (but I'm not gonna lie...they're fun as hell). With that said, I bought a full system (area p quiet core) against everyone's recommendations. All of my buddies are telling me it's a waste of money... but I love how it sounds now. It's not too loud - any louder and I would go back to stock can. My top end's a bit better (I think I might be able to make it past 170+ with the new can + rejet). Next year, I'm getting my suspension changed 'cause the stock suspension can't be tuned that much. Every year, I'm gonna make my bike better.

Please don't get a two bros or a yoshi, though. Those things are retardedly loud. They're pretty annoying :P. Seriously look into the area p quiet core - I love this thing!

edit: Crap...you have the cbr250. In that case, you might wanna upgrade! :laughing8:

Man..... twin bros was top on my to do list.

But I like your thought. Its not just about getting the biggest bike, it all comes down to having fun and getting that big fat smile on your face when you do.

Well I suppose you can get a jet kit anyway....those pilot jets make for good earrings I hear. ;)
