SHOEI RF-1100 ECE 22.05 Rated?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could give me a hand real quick and look inside their RF-1100 for me to see what ratings it has printed inside of it. I've searched the forum, but didn't come up with anything.

I've recently moved to the UK for a new job, and I'm looking to start riding over here with my RF-1100 from home. The UK needs an ECE 22.05 OR BSI rating, but the UK does not recognize the SNELL rating.

However, they do sell the exact same helmet here, so i figure its all the same?

Im not looking to start a discussion on which rating is better, I would just like to know what it says on the inside of the helmet!

The RF1100 (North America market) is Snell rated. The UK version, which is known as the XR1100 and is essentially the same helmet, will have the ECE22.05 rating.

honestly I don't think anyone will notice ... the police will just see "Shoei" and assume its good enough ...
 
Yeah, thats what im thinking...

Ive heard insurance here is quite strict though and they want to see everything including helmets in the even of a claim

Maybe ill just have to sell my lid too

I'm pretty sure it says in the manual for the helmet, that it does not SHIP with the ECE rating on the helmet unless sold in a country that requires it.
