A great deal, no pics, no location

Says he will "come to you anywhere with the bike"

I might just be paranoid, in which case I apologize to the seller who ever he is. but it strikes me as a little weird. Be cautious dealing with this guy maybe.

I would be cautious of any guy that doesnt put a link that you can click on!
 
So the guy doesn't want people coming to where he parks his bike in a condo, can you blame him? Read all the stolen bike threads.
 
i replied to the ad...he says he wants the cash in small unmarked bills and take them to the phone booth on the S/W corner of yonge & bloor and wait for the phone to ring and get instructions from there
 
LOL it's in Petawawa Ontario. The picture is taken on the exact street it lists. In the background you can see the Family resource center and further back, the Canex. The sign behind the stop sign is...

Basically it looks like an Army guy that has been posted to Trenton. This is the APS (active posting season).

The reason why you think it's sketch is because he's put up a good price for the bike.

On a side note: Feel free to go up there and try to steal it. You next of kin will find some of you in the Ottawa river..... just sayin

Must be sad to live in fear of everything..... :(

Where he lives is one street over from where I lived for five of my nine years in Petawawa. Caen st. The buildings in the background look identical to what I described. If the base had street view I could show you exactly what I was saying.

Not going to argue what you posted though. How could I given the photographers info is in the original pic.... though it does say he is going to post actual pics this weekend.

Still don't understand how he's going to rob you and be cautious when dealing with him but ike I said I don't look at everything in fear.

Guess it just makes sense to me because the situation is normal in my eyes.

Meh, if you are scared don't buy it. Seems like a good price for an 07 R1.
 
I find a few things odd, posting as just YZF and not R1 or YZF-R1 as someone looking for an R1 may not find it, and someone looking for a yzf-600 would. Does the R1 come in grey! just wait for pictures.
 
It sounds like its legit, as previously mentioned, Trenton and Petawawa are both active Canadian Forces Bases. However, the story sounds like the usual "The bike is in Halifax as I'm a scientist on the HMS Albatross and I'll ship the bike to you and you Western Union the money to me" scam.
