M1 Exam example questions

It seems you have to pay... Why pay when you can just get the real thing at the MTO?

"For as little as $14.95, you get Unlimited Access to all test questions & answers for 1 month - with no limits on how many times you can practice. Practice anytime & anywhere - 24 hours/day, 7 days/week."

If you want, i have a copy of the book with answers circled (PDF), along with a word document with the same questions + answers without the answered filled in for practice.

Guys the M1 questions are sooo simple. Anytime any of my friends want to go i just tell thme these pointers and they almost always pass.

- When in a breaking situation, always apply both break evenly, no matter what circumstance
- Know hand signals, left, right and stop.
- Know your lane positioning, know where you should be on single laned and multi lane roads. Blocking position.

Thats pretty much it. Other than that most questions are simple, like im pretty sure every test gives you freebies like:

Which should you not do before riding:

Drink
Do drugs
be half asleep
Or all of the above.

LOL

Make sure you study chapter 2+3 of the drivers handbook for G1 testing. It's available online free. Not just the Motorcycle handbook alone! If you dont you're guaranteed to fail! Guaranteed! The M1 test is a combination of 60 questions: I believe 40 pertaining to G1 questions (from Chapter2+3) and 20 pertaining to the motorcycle handbook. It's not a cake walk anymore like it was years ago.

I don't want to be harsh or anything... but if you can't pass the M1 test from just reading the guidebook ... which costs less than $14.95, doesn't that mean something?

If you have a regular drivers license already, the questions are like 80% the same anyway.

Take 40 mins and read thru the Motorcycle guidebook. That's all I did and I got 100%. If this is the newer harder version than I guess all you had to do before was show up because it's really not that hard.
But new2dascene is right. You will need to read up on braking and blocking positions and so on.

Note you will also take the G1 test (at least I did) when taking the M1 test. M1 is easy. I had to guess with a couple of the G1 questions particularly the demerit points/suspension periods since I did not study the G1 portion.

Which should you not do before riding:
[...]

Which should you do before taking the M1 written test?

Drink
Do drugs
be half asleep
Learn the G1 and M1 licence restrictions and other G1-specific stuff

:p

If you do all of the above you'll probably still pass the test. It's not that hard.
