It's $907 a year full-cover theft, fire, collision. Im financing this bike brand new later this month, hopefully. Is it cheap or expensive? Would I get cheaper with TD or State Farm if I go with them? BTW I got a speeding ticket 16 months ago.

how old are you first of all?. Then we can tell if its cheap or not. So far it looks cheap.

that's a GREAT deal!

I think you're trolling.. lol

I'm thinking of that bike for when I upgrade. I sadly doubt I'll get a quote that low. But if he's over 25/married, and been riding for 3 years plus, isn't downtown toronto, I don't see that being beyond reason given its not a SS to insurance.

I have a trick that most people don't know about. It'll help you find out if TD or State Farm is cheaper. What you do is you take your current rate. You call TD and State Farm and get a quote. Take said quote and subtract current quote then you'll see which one is cheaper.

+1!! Hahaha. I was wondering the same thing about the trolling especially after i saw his post on the "lady reversed over my bike" thread and couldn't believe there could be $2,000 + on damages! Maybe he E-Bikes! Lol

Look in your bank account...do you have enough money to pay for insurance? if not then it's not cheap. Why would you want a sport bike though? they are expensive to repair fairings if they get damaged though, right?

get it in writing first.

I smell a bait and switch.

I never had a motorycle except for my dual-sport 350cc so I know squat about insurance pricing on any other kind of bikes, yeah I have seen the stories here about $9,000/yr quotes but my future bike is not a superpsort and I'm not 21 so I have no idea if it's cheap or not.

I am 40 with a G licence since 1989 and a M2 licence since 2004, have the full M since 15 months ago, no accidents, no claims and 1 speeding ticket. Yeah I am married and I live on Steeles ave/Keel St. area.

I have no clue what is a right price for me, yeah I know about exorbitant prices for SS bikes and riders under 24 but I'm not one of them. My future bike is not an SS and I'm 40, married, and live in the Steeles ave/Keele St. area.

I smell a bait and switch.

This has also crossed my mind but the quote comes from my trusted, old insurance "Duffy Insurance", I have my current bike insured with them right now and since 2004. Why would they pull this stunt with me, a loyal, clean customer?

Eh ... seems like you might be able to do better. Try calling Rider's Plus.

I'm 26, M2 for 4 seasons (insured the whole time) and I just took my 2008 Ninja 650R to TD Meloche Monnex, $969 full coverage.
