10mm Delrin Slider Spools on Ninja 250r Question

Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong section.

I'm looking for slider spools for my bike. Well actually, I'm looking for spools, but the addition of sliders would be nice should my bike ever drop. I don't plan to race my bike, so I don't need a professional grade accessory.

Can some of you pros give me your honest opinion on this 10mm Delrin Slider Spool set I found on e-bay? Keep in mind my application.

Thanks!

I know the 10 mm spools that came with my stand from CDN Tire don't fit perfectly under the swing arms. I think the spools need to be tapered at the front. But they work good enough for my use.

So I'm not sure if those spools will solve that problem.

Actually ignore my post. I misunderstood your question. I know realize you are looking for slider spools not stand spools....

Could you elaborate on how it doesn't fit under the swing arm? I'm not too familiar with spools, I thought they just screw into the screw holes on the swing arm.

edit: Nevermind. I just googled some pictures, and my swing arm is slightly different. I don't think I'll have a problem with placement. In the worse case, I suppose I can use washers.

edit2: Slider spools work with stands correct? That's the main application I'm using them for.

Bought the EXACT same pair for my bike (2009 Ninja 250R)
Fit perfect, seem sturdy, easy install (all swingarm spools should be)

Haven't used them for a stand yet, but they should hold up no problem :)

I would buy the same set again if I needed to.

Awesome! Thanks! I can now buy these with confidence. :)

you might need some spacers because the bosses for the spools are recessed by a few MM from the face of the swingarm. I got some PBR spools and just used a couple washers with one side ground down and they worked perfectly.
