Who is going to the SBR this year? I remember a lot of whining last year, how 'bad' it was. Obviously the whiners did not check out the AWESOME roads and partying that went on all weekend. I was up there the last few years with a few very good friends and we had a blast all weekend. Every year meeting more and more friends. Why not come up and really check it out, not just show up look over your shoulder and ride back home complaining. Lots of places to stay, but they do book up fast. Hopefully, we see lots of you riders up there. :D:D:D See you on JULY 8, 9, 10, 2011.

I tend to use it as an excuse to take all the secondary twisty roads up and on the way back, so I'm there for a few hours with my friends.

I've got a neat route that avoids the highway there and back, a few sandy corners here and there, and a couple roads CBRJohn showed me. ;)

I stayed overnight in Foley Fairgrounds one year. Bring ear plugs or lose sleep. :P

I was a litlle reluctant cause of the hooliganism ...but now I'll probably be there too!!
Looking forward to the great rds, partys n group ride.
Thinkin of doin a little fishin if i can get one of the cagers to carry my fishin rod

Of course, but somebody has to take pics this time. Riding up is the only way as there are lots of nice twisty roads. Heading up Friday.

I dunno, I don't recall there being any whining going on about it....other than it was a bit of a heat score. As I recall, anyone that went actually said they enjoyed it.
 
The website for the sport bike rally says its back at the fair ground and there is a registration fee. Does that mean the bikes won't be lined up along the streets and near the Booby Orr Arena?
