I dont know if this is old news to most of you or not but its new to me.
They are raving about this on another forum that I am on.
Garmin now has a GPS system that also hooks up wireless thru Bluetooth to your bikes ODB2 computer. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=38354
It has a guage section that allows you to look at a whole bunch of different guages like RPM, water temp, intake temp, engine load, voltage, and a whole bunch more of other gauges. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Lfy_5NM7vg&feature=related
It only shows 5 at a time.
It works on all bikes with an ODB2 connection.
You need a GPS with bluetooth for this to work, the Garmin webpage tells you which models will work.
I have ordered the Garmin 1690 as it has this feature and also has the ability to download my custom maps from my computer.

bikes have ODB2 connectors?

That's really sweet, and I would love to monitor all the stats that the ecoRoute HD offers.
Unfortunately my bike does not have the OBD-II sensor needed.

Perhaps it's something to consider after I buy a car/truck this fall.
Thanks for sharing!

I don't know about other bikes but mine has a OBD2 connection under the seat, my bike is a newer 2010 EFI cruiser.
If you are able to install a Power Commander to your bikes ECU (computer) then I would assume your bike would also have a ODB2 connection?
The Garmin HD diagnostics communicator plugs into the ODB2 under my seat, then the data is transmitted wirelessly to the GPS.

Not all vehicles that have ECU's have the OBD connectors.
For example the SV's can be jumped into "diagnostic mode" by using a piece of wire and the codes are then displayed on the instrument panel.
