Have had both. Personally for my shorter frame, the Gixxer is a better fit. But the R6 is definitely a jerky monster sometimes....and looks mean as hell.

Ya Im going M4 (did you get yours from Motomummy.com). For me its a toss up, if I can find the headers (for cheap) Ill go that route if not then Ill just make a mid pipe

M4 comes with a cat remover pipe, it's a 3/4 system, no need to buy headers. You will lose some low, mid range, This pipe is made for the track, not the street. Order a silencer from Motomummy as well in case you get pulled over. Order an air filter as well. Make sure you want this pipe long term before you commit to a dyno tune. It's louder than than Jardine. Looks sick as hell on the Gixx, but does come with draw-backs.
