What weather conditions will they cancel a road test? Will they still run in the rain?

did my course at humber in april. It was raining, snowing, hailing, and winding as hell...didnt cancel course and still had to do the test in the rain. They said the only time they cancel the course and test was when there was a thick layer of ICE and it became a safety issue. I believe its better to learn in the rain beucase if you are ever caught atleast you know what to do

Rain weeds out the wusses

lol!

No, unless you think you will melt in the rain or get your Chrome all dirty? Actually, do a test in the rain maybe easier as the traffic maybe traveling slower and for sure you would be too!!!

get a buddy to come along...

good luck!

Yes! I'm definetly NOT a fairweather rider. Confidence has returned:)

It basically rained nonstop for the first month I was on a motorcycle, all of rider training and the test. Drizzle and wet roads for my M too. None were cancelled, but I've learned a lot by riding in the rain.

I had to do it in pouring rain.. I had to ride with the visor up to be able to see, which affected my already crappy hearing of the instructions. Passed without any issues. This was the ministry test in Aurora.

Was snowing when I did mine. They might cancel out stopping while corning if there is stagnant water in the stop zone, but everything else is go.

A few years ago, I took my M2 exit course and test in early May. It drizzled and ****** rain on/off all day and it was cold. As the day progressed, the rain became heavier and the wind started to pickup. With full rain gear on, I was soaked underneath at the end of the day. Although it was quite miserable, I was amazed how well the bike rode in the rain - certainly not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

We only stop if its snowing and it is sticking or if there is lightning. Otherwise look at the weather network (and the maps) and plan for it... I always pack sunscreen rain gear, warm layers, some plastic bags etc when I go to teach. Then I am prepared for everything.
