OPP Vehicle fleet?

After seeing someone pulled over by an unmarked Chrysler 300M with identical light setup as a marked OPP cruiser, I am wondering if there exists a list of vehicles used officially by the OPP.

I know of the Crown Vics, the Impalas, the Tahoes and the Harleys, but clearly there are more.

Since it is our tax dollar that funds the purchase of these vehicles, aren't we entitled to know what their fleet contains?

Nope.

However, there is an easy way to find out what they're driving. All you have to do is get their attention somehow and they'll reveal themselves.
 
Three words... First one starts with an F, second one starts with a T, Third one starts with a P

Can you guess what it is???

I heard that some of the funding for that G20 meeting went to new cars and I've seen a bunch of different unmarked cars in the last little while. Big black SUVs, minivans and even a honda civic. I guess they realize that those navy blue interceptors are hardly incognito.

I tried that before when I had my Mustang. I was only able to draw out the Crown Vics and a Charger.
However they did let me go two out of three times when caught over 160 on the 401 coming back from Québec, post HTA172 implementation.
Unfortunately I am fresh out of get-out-of-jail-free cards so I am no longer inclined to press my luck.

I've seen a couple unmarked Caravans, a Ford Edge, Dodge Magnums, Chevy Express vans and even a Hyundai SUV.

Not sure if they were OPP or Peel tho....

maybe Peel.. arn't they the ones with all the trick taxi's, delivery vans etc?

And the third one was reduced from 172 down to 149 (to avoid a stunt charge).

Would anyone be able to explain how that whole unmarked car concept works? I remember vaguely hearing that cars have to be marked according to law (which = stealth cars), but I doubt that's right since there are the unmarked white cars.

Ya, that one pulled me over a couple weeks ago in milton :)

I saw a brand new ford fusion uc last week in oakville also, isn't there already a thread for this?

I dont think it was the same car because the one I saw was on Hwy 11 on my way to Bracebridge. Quite a ways from Milton lol. I guess it goes to show they potentially have more than one 300M.

****, it was a new sebring, all black, I get all those chryslers mixed up haha
