Anyone use or tried on this helmet?

REALLY don't want the bobble head look... thinking about ordering this but can't try it on ahead of time... anyone got it? Got a pic? Can relieve my fear of looking like Marvin the Martian?

Speed racer! I love these helmets. Wouldn't wear one unless I was on a scooter.

I wouldn't want to wear an open face helmet in any circumstances. I happen to believe that every part of my head deserves equal protection, including my chin. But to each his own.

I had a low speed crash 14 years ago (20 km/h). I was wearing a Shoei RF and the first part of my body to make contact was my chin. The impact broke the chin piece on the helmet and my jaw. I would hate to think what would have happened to my face in a 3/4 or a 1/2.

Yeah, I enjoy having a bottom jaw

I want one :)

Sorry but I like my half lids. I know they arent good for you but this is where we come back to the part where everyone has a choice.

I choose to have my original lower jaw.

That's alright I just wanted to share my personal experience.

Yep. Same thing happened to me my first day out. Without a full face I'd probably at the least have no teeth anymore.

Hey.....I like that. I ride a Scrambler and kick it "old school". I am looking at a Davida myself as I am riding with a retro Bell right now. Trying different Goggles out at the moment. Who makes that? Not a fan of the sparkles but would suit your ride. Ride what you are comfortable with. Everyone has their own opinion but that also includes you. I am way past 50 and been riding to long to give a **** what anyone else thinks!

The bumblebee that hit dead center in my visor on the highway is the biggest reason I wear a full-face at all times.
It actually threw my head back a bit...

Of course picking between style and safety is a choice. If we had no helmet laws here, there would be a bunch of people riding without them, just like in many states. Whether it's smart?

For a fashion statement, if Gazoo look is what you're after then go for it. I wore helmets like these in Caribbean - don't look so hot. If you have to expose half the face, might as well get a half helmet, cruiser style. They look better IMO.

I'm actually moving up from a half helmet because I'm worried about incidents, as well as wind noise (not being able to hear my bike). I realize the risk of going face first into something is present, but if I get into an accident I plan on landing on my feet anyway.

I was just asking if anyone has experience with this helmet, not a referendum on full vs. open!

When I got side swiped off the road last year my chin followed my chest as I went sliding on pavement. Full face or bust.

Lol, I wonder why we even bother sometimes. :D Fashion wins over safety every time. But seriously guys, there really is a reason why they replaced leather caps with hard shell helmets and open face helmets with full face helmets in every race setting. I'd love to ride and have a smoke sometimes, but I know it's not worth it.
