Aprilia Shiver

based on looks alone, I'd take the shiver any day. beautiful bike!

I'd go with the Triumph Street Triple any day of the week. It makes more hp and torque, and the triple engine just feels special.

If are interested in meeting up and looking at my shiver and asking me some questions then you can pm me. Were you looking at the 07-09 or the 10 + version ?

Thanks a lot for the offer man, I'm actually going to check one out on Thursday, but I still might take you up on that.
I'm looking at 2010, what year is yours?

I have the 2009

So yours is a little bit lower and has a different look to it. Still a sick bike.

Where the hack do u buy an aprilia now? Can't seem to find any. Wuts up with that? Meanwhile Vespas are everywhere. Really that many ppl buying Vespas?

There is a new aprilia dealer opening up on Dufferin and Steeles. Here is the link to the dealers website. He will be selling Aprilia, MotoGuzzi and Vespa/Piaggio.

According to the owner, the store should be open and ready for customers starting in June.

I live in London and have a code orange shiver 2009. It has 11,000 Kilometers on it and I'm having to make some tough choices. I've got two bikes and have to pair down to one. So I have to part with one, I have to keep the one the wife is more comfortable with, the Kawasaki. I've got to put her up for sale. Pristeen condition, will have to let her go for 6,200. Sad day...

How come nobody's mentioned the SOUND of the stock Aprilia versus the competition? The 750 V-Twin Aprilia mill is, bar none, the best sounding stock motorcycle I've ever heard. I just traded my Dorsoduro for a Moto Guzzi Griso SE at Two Wheel, so there is a used 2009 Dorsoduro with full warranty for sale at Two Wheel with 1800 kilometres on it for $7999.

Ever hear the Aprilia RSV4 in stock form? mmmm.... sweet... and then when you kick it into gear, extra valves open up and it's sheer "drooling idiot time" for me... ;-)
