Girls - what do you think of the gear selections?

As a female rider, I don't find that there are enough gears out there for women and not enough variety. I don't like wearing anything that screams "Hey I'm a chick, look at me" so I try to stick to anything that's simple and black. It's hard to find something that's my size and fits comfortably and still shows the female figure.

I currently own the Luna 2.0 jacket, in black, but the zipper and liner is pink. It was the most black jacket I could find for a decent price. I'm looking for a leather jacket and I was trying some on in a store in the states and they make me look so manly. It's so hard to find something that I can actually say I "love". I don't want no lame graphics, or girly colours, just something simple and sexy. I was looking at the Dainese leather jacket on their site and it actually looks good, but way out of my price range.

Ladies (and gents), what do you think of the gears that are out on the market for women?

my fiance (not being one for girly colours) has a xs mens jacket.. its a joe rocket something or other.. it fits her pretty snug and you can still tell she is a girl.. plus its kawi green :)

This seems to fit quite nicely

My wife got a really nice leather Joe Rocket jacket at Envy Rides. It's all black (has some little flower on the sleeve, but that's all).
(could be Sonic, but I am not 100% sure -http://www.joerocketcanada.com/en/products/women/jackets/snc_l.cfm). Ladies' Five leather gloves also look fairly plain with really cute ornament if you look closely.

I think a pic is in order, lets see what you look like so we can make some recommendations. :)

If I was a chick, I'd be offended at the selection of female gear.

They're either full of pink, or full of flowers. I remember this one jacket had a unicorn and peace sign. Like, really?

I went to the moto show with 2 chicks, and I found that icon was the most form-fitting & it looked good. I tried finding the one they tried on at the show, but I think it's an older model. It had a really subtle cinch on the back so it hugs the bum really well. :D

It was sort of like this:

There's lots of female gear out there if you look for it.

I like the Rev'It stuff myself and find it's not all "girly" or "pink".

But at approximately 10% of the riding population what else do you expect?

I shudder everytime I see the pink/girl gear but the thing that bothers me the most is how I have yet to find a jacket that fits in length. The closet I can come to a proper fitting jacket is Icon.

Apparently I fall under the "freakishly tall" category for what the manufacturing world thinks our height generally is. Just once I'd like to put on a jacket that doesn't ride half way up my back when I get on the bike. It could be flourescent orange with pink polka dots and I'd wear it if it fit.

I'm the same way. I'm average height but have a long torso so most jackets are way too short. Icon works and they make decent black jackets (as well as pink and blue). Rev'it is longer too.

I hate the girls selections too. I still love to look girly without the flowers, butterflies or pink! I also like individuality, but its almost impossible. U get some gear thats new, or you've never seen before, then later, you end up running into other girls with the same stuff. I really hate that lol
In terms of fit and style, i do prefer icon or scorpion though.

There is that thread on leatherlink, jackets and pants at a decent price and made to order, any color you want, no pink, unless you like a bit of pink. And who doesn't?:)

I have balck and grey IXON leather jacket, who ever that company is :P It has an upside down star on the back. I also wear Joe Rocket leather pants. For me, it's was ridiculously hard to find a jacket, because I'm so tall and have monkey arms, but the pants were fine, I didn't even need to bother getting them hemmed
