I think that tail looks really un-proportioned...but just get a tail and slip it over your subframe, have a drill and grinder handy. Or you can fabricate your own subframe.

I like the SSSA (Single Sided Swing Arm) on that also...nice bike!

+1

That tail doesn't suit that bike at all.
Very big and curvy front end and very small and pointy rear end.

It reminds me of this

but a zx7 is a thing of beauty. it should be left alone.

Looks terrible on a ZX7.
This is one of the prettiest bikes to ever leave Japan- don't mess with perfection.

I like some things about the bike, but it looks a little awkward like the Hayabusa gsxr tail mod. This just looks all wrong in my opinion...

being a zx7r owner i must say that this looks pretty good. I just hope he didn't wreck a good bike to do this. that being said I imagine he did this to be different and have a 1 of a kind bike. You could do something similar, it looks quite easy to do, but probably would have been easier if he changed the whole subframe over to a zx6r instead of just the plastics and seat? but all of these parts are available on ebay.

Y shaped frame behind the tank = Busa.
6 piston brakes
giant wheelbase
....all Busa

This was my very first street bike back in the day 1990 ZXR750....exactly like this one, my Favorite of all the Kawasaki Ninja line up!
