Reportedly the children gnaw at their fabric restraints, like a rabid animals -- or "zombies" of popular fiction -- in an attempt to escape.

The effort to restrain the children is not unwarranted. In one of the most bizarre symptoms of this tragic illness, children with the disease are reportedly setting fire to buildings in their communities. Coupled with the aimless wandering this disease provokes in victims, this is a deadly combination. More than 200 people have been killed in fires believed to be set by the zombified children.

Shucks, I haven't had the chance to put my kit together. Too broke and too much regulations. I guess I'll have to stick with my machete and skills. Gonna pick up a Katana Sword later. Time to get some chain mail and a shield :D

There not shooting back and they move slow.
Although it would be nice to shoot them I think I'd still pick a good lightweight sword over a gun.
No worries about jamming or running out of ammo, quiet and efficient.
Maybe a side piece just in case of a tight jam lol.
 
I guess it's time to dust off my katana and wakisashi. And just for fun I'll bring the 6 mm and take some out at 300 yd.

Plus can't watch the doors and cover them all by yourself 24/7 ;),
nothing wrong with some backup.

Ever read the Zombie Survival Guide?

Downtown has a very dense population that'll be overrun by zombie hordes! The safest places are remote areas with less population. You can have your Eaton Centre.. what a scary *** place to be in during a zombie apocalypse!
 
eaton centre is the last place you wanna be when **** hits the fan. Too many entrances for you to be guarding by yourself and surrounded by a city full of zombies.

I'll be up north in the wilderness living in big *** tree house.!

Heh, 'cept my range is up in the middle of "nowhere", lots of wildlife out there that would make for some tasty morsels...besides, we both know eating all that mall food will give you the runs (and do you really want to face the zombie apocalypse clenching your butt-cheeks so as prevent leakage?).
