Zard or Termi

I know there is these topics started on the ducati forums, but i figured id ask you guys.. Which is the better choice? Price is not the deciding factor... Just want a solid exhaust..

Zard are weird looking, and too loud without sounding refined. They remind me of Remus....high price, but unappealing.
Termi is all hype tied to Ducati.
......HPE makes some really nice Inconel and Inox stuff, Lambo and Ferrari type quality...but pricey.
The stuff Fastar posted is beautiful as well.

Does the termi come with a new ecu if so it is the way to go.

With all the different cities passing noise bylaws (with more coming), I would be leaving my exhaust stock. just my opinion.

Well I have the termis ecu and filter on my 796 and bike runs much better, smoother. It sounds intoxicating as well.
Its cheaper to go with other brands but you will have to screw around with tuning software if thats your thing.

As stated, Zard exhausts are extremely loud and their quality sucks especially their header pipes. Check out this set for a 675.

The beauty of the Termi units is not only the quality but that they work so well with Ducatis. The one big plus is the removable baffles which don’t hurt the h.p. increase as much as some other aftermarket db reducers do. The wife is quite happy with the set she has on her 796.

Agreed. I removed my baffles and its really loud. I'm trying to find a happy medium. Might have to shave down the baffles and cut them as others have been doing. The only thing I miss is the popping noises on deceleration you get with the stock setup :(

Thanks ... you made my mind up. How you liking your MV agusta? Brutale 675 was on my list, until I heard there is some minor issues to be sorted?

Had akras on my cbr600rr, loved it... but imo it does not suit the Ducatis..... Arrow looks out of place as well IMO... and Leo Vince looks cheap? ... Arata not sure if they make those for the monster do they?

Arata, not sure ....
But the builds on these pipes are better than the Termis but not as good as those HPcorse ones...

Those HP Course Hydraforms are saaaw-wheeeet! Those were not available in the fall of 2010.
Besides, Linda’s deal included the Temis.
It's had to say no to this classic look, right?

P.S. It’s the same bike, just different body panels. Monsters are so much fun!

The 675 MV’s are having issues. Being so new to Canada these are being complicated by the inexperienced dealer network. I’m hopefully optimistic that everything will work out.

Have you looking into Quat D? I'm saving my pennies to hopefully get the QD exhaust for my Multistrada.
