Hey GTAM,
I thought I'd give a very very very good review on Z1 Cycletech.
After having my bike sit for over a year because of insurance issues, i finally got it insured and on the road last week, I took it out a few times before the weekend but then put it away because of rain, and other circustances where i needed my car lol.
ANyways, where my story begins is with a fellow member on here, he had recomended me to see Z1 a few weeks back, knowing when i wanted to get my bike checked out to make sure everything was good to go, i contacted Z1 and started speaking to Glenn, I Had emailed him at first through the website, i never thought the email got through properly because of a poor internet connection at my work, so i decided to call in the following day, Glenn had answered the phone and as soon as I said my make, model and year, he instantly stopped me and said is this ANdrew ............. (the dots are my last name lol) , so I said yes it is and as I called him he was reading my email .... He said that the work I wanted to get done was no problem at all, so I told him i would stop in the shop to take a peek around, get introduced to him and his shop .. I also wanted to order a new stator cover as the one on my bike was a little scuffed up probably from a stand still drop. ANyways, i paid in full for the part, GLenn then said he would call me when the part arrives in a week or so, which was good because the bike would be on the road by then.
Glenn is awesome at answering emails back in a decent amount of time!!!! I was extremely impressed with his quick and detailed responses.
As I went in to speak to him , he told me that two of his mechanics hurt themselves, and that Zaid was his only mechanic, which worked for me because everyone had nothing but good things to say about him.
I dropped my bike off on MOnday morning, Glenn told me that because they're so busy that it may be a few days before i get the bike back, that was fine with me since it rained on tuesday and wednesday wasn't a big deal either. Well, I emailed him today to see how the progress was coming along with my bike, if there were any issues etc. with the bike, of course, Glenn responded in no time, telling me that the bike is in very good condition, it passed Zaid's test drive with flying colors and at 2:30 today, Zaid just had to do the Stator cover and gasket, and put new oil in my bike and it should be done by 6:30.
I had a small issue, I get off work at 6 and work in newmarket, so getting there by 6:30 may be tight, but Glenn said that he had no issue staying a little late to wait for me. I got off work early, got a lift from my house to the shop by 6:30 on the nose, and by that time Zaid was just finishing putting my fairings back on, so Glenn and I were just having a chat about my bike, and the amount of KM's on it (3120 KM, its a 2006 Ninja ZX636) and that the chain and sprockets were original, so were the brakes, he told me my fluid levels were all perfect, all that was needed was a bit of air in the tires lol ... which was from sitting all winter long and alittle before that.
Glenn also took me on a short tour of the shop (ps the shop is amazing!), Zaid brought my bike around and instantly complimented the cleanliness of the bike, the amount of KM's and of course introduced himself to me. He also said that everything checks out perfect and that i shouldn't have any issues for a long time with this bike!
I'm sorry for a long story, I just believe that Z1 Cycletech, Glenn and Zaid deserved this review .... they have gone above and beyond to make me happy, my bike, when it was finished, didn't even look like it was taken apart, Zaid gave it a little cleaning as well when he was done.
Amazing job Guys !!!! You now have a customer for life !!! Very impressed with your shop, your attitude and your communication!!!
