Your views on Bennett's bike social, and why we don't have something like here

I am in the opinion that the content produced to YouTube, from bike reviews to gear and explanation on technicalities on legislation pertaining said gear, hits the mark almost perfectly. The videos are of the interest of novices and seasoned riders alike.
I know UK has a different view towards motorcycling. But wouldn't be nice some company (insurance company, retailer, newspaper...) here to treat the 3% of bike users (from what I recall; I might be wrong) in the same way, but of course considering the Canadian landscape?
I would like to hear some opinions of you, ladies and gents.

Can you offer an executive summary on what "Bennett's bike social" is? Are you asking for Canadian motorcycle journalism? Because that does exist in a few forms (despite great difficulties)

It doesn't exist here cause there's nobody who wants to sponsor it or pay for it, especially when competing with the US media market. It's a very chicken and egg problem too, with sponsors only coming if its successful, and to be successful you need sponsorship.

It would take an existing entity like Fortnine's youtube team (upward popularity trend) + several other industry sponsors for a canadian home grown equivalent. Problem is, the industry sponsors are normally something like:
  • insurance companies(which are province specific so its a waste of money advertising to non-markets)
  • manufacturers(credibility and ethics problems for non-established)
  • lifestyle brands(sponsored by Tim Hortons parking lot maintenance corporation)
Motorcycle.com, Revzilla/Common Tread, are as close as it'll get for published content.
