I know its a newbie here in Canada but what do you pep's think of it, looks, street bike ability etc.etc?
Mostly for GTA riding. $14,000.

It's starting to grow on me but I dont like the looks of the headlight and dash. Other then that it looks like it will be a sweet street bike. Ive had a gixxer 750 and a zx600 before when I was younger but now at 43 years old I'm looking for not as an aggressive riding position but i'm not into cruisers.

I think it looks hideous! Wtf was Honda thinking.. my god!

If you're willing to spend that much.. why not look at the 6th gen (2006 - 2009) Honda VFR 800 or the VFR 1200? Both are sport touring and have a more upright riding position. Look hell of a lot better too!

I don't think it's hideous at all. With a new exhaust and possibly a different headlight set up it would actually make a very attractive naked bike. You have to see beyond the stock look.

So spend another $2000 on top of the MSRP to get it to look acceptable? Yea, that makes complete sense!

95% of bikes get an aftermarket exhaust at some point. Don't act like it's an oddity.

It has some great looking aspects to it. Different people have different tastes. For me a new exhaust would make the bike an excellent looking one.

I think its a great looking bike stock that could look even better with aftermarket parts... And that motor is a stump puller

It's a pretty good looking bike, in the flesh. Saw one in person, for the first time, on Monday. It's built with quality sportbike grade components and 10 years, with a VFR800, taught me that I like Honda's single sided swingarms for maintenance.

I love the bike. I think it looks really nice. I had a chance to sit on one in December at the M/C show and the ergonomics are great too. Im 6'1 and it felt really good and I think it would make a great street bike. It was my favorite bike at the show, I was really impressed.

Though for the money, there would be other bikes to consider for the street as well. In that price range, you could probably score a lightly used Ducati Streetfighter and for less money you could score a few year old KTM Superduke. Or a new Speed Triple or Ducati Hypermotard 1100. Lots of choice out there!

We had a saying back in the day when I used to ride dirt, "Scrap it and buy a Honda". Meaning that everything else is crap, which obviously is not the case, but is was a running joke when my buds bikes were breaking down all the time and I was still riding my Honda. Hard to beat a Honda for overall reliability and performance.

I also love the CB1000R. I hear it has gobs of low end torque, some say to much, 0-60 in less than 3 secs kinda deal :)

Here's a pic I took at the show this year:

This could apply to their cars too.

My 14 year old Accord still runs as good as the day I bought it, and I havent spent a dime fixing anything on it.

Looking to replace my wifes CR-V soon, and yep, after all the research, it will be a Honda/Acura :)

Looks are entirely subjective. I personally think it's pretty %$%$ing hot, the price however not so much.

Honda has piles of leftover unsold VFR1200s you could get into for less money than that I think.

I think its a great bike.
I'd go for a z1000 if I was in the market for that type of bike. Sorry Honda...

I think its a great looking bike. For the kind of riding you describe, I think you'll have a hard time wiping the smile of your face! That bike will make you want to do bad things!

Hey I'm riding a 30 year old Honda and with basic maintenance its still pulling strong. So I'd say yes, Honda's rock.

ask yourself this:
u dont like a few things about the bike, but can you still justify spending $14k on it?
