Young beginners in Mississauga?

Anybody interested in doing a young beginner riders meetup? By young riders I mean ages 16-22 (approx.). Preferably people that are just starting out with riding or group riding and want to ride with people of equal ability. I live in Streetsville specifically but I'm cool with going just about anywhere in Mississauga.

+1

It would probably be a good idea to keep it a small group and get a couple experienced guys in there. Last thing you want is 20+ young, inexperienced guys on sport bikes...

Don't get us wrong but its not the bikes that kill, its the inability of inexperienced riders to understand the limits and capabilities of their bikes... Any bike can really lands ppl in hot water.. I know young guys who are amazing with litre bikes but usually they have a lot of off road experience to compensate... So group rides be very careful.

Oh yeah I definitely agree with that, I was actually trying to get this going specifically *because* of the lack of skill. I have a feeling if us beginners try to mix in with the expert crowd we'd be too tempted to push our limits just to keep up; I definitely don't want to be a part of that. And yes, definitely a small group. I'm thinking around 4-5 people maximum, perhaps one experienced leader to lead the way and that's about it.

Keep an eye open for group rides with experienced riders that welcome new riders, lots do. Noobs in a pack is just the blind leading the blind.

I'm from the Meadowvale part of Mississauga. Still inexperienced. Feel free to PM me.

I don't think we'll be that bad to be honest. I commute every single day on my bike about 15-20km total + errands. Nearly 1000km total now. So it's not like I've never ridden before, just that I don't have years of experience like some other people here.

Yeah sure, sending one now.

mind you that riding solo and riding with a group is totally different, you will know what I mean when you join a group ride
