Yamaha Ténéré Raid 700 Breaks Cover in New Patents

@Iceman had one. It got ruined in a crash and it wasn't replaced with another T7. I don't think making it heavier would make it better for his use case.

Yeah, there is no "unicorn" one-do-it-all bike...

Dirt. Trials?

I have a T7. None of the changes on that Raid model appeal to me but fuel range is a common complaint on Tenere forums/FB so I expect this to sell well. I find the tank on the base model to be a little big physically to begin with, the raid looks WIDE. There are other bikes I would prefer for long distance type riding.

Suspension upgrades would of been nice but it's fine the way it sits for the price. Lots of good aftermarket options for suspension anyways. I really really would like to see the sub frame be bolt on down the road. That's my biggest complaint with the bike considering it is designed for offroad use. A extra 10-15hp would be nice as well. It's not under powered but could use a bit more jam.

Said every biker everywhere.

Haha. On the bikes over 150 hp, probably not so much. You are limited by physics at street legal speeds.
Well well, I tried 2020 Duc v4 Streetfighter… It did’t feel “too much”, it just everything else afterwards felt ‘not enough“ :) Power corrupts…
