Hi GTAM!
I'm a Yamaha R1 & R6 lover in Toronto. I just sort of got a 2001 R1 this season as a first bike. It's amazing and I love it. IMO, the perfect starting bike.
(Actually I had smaller bikes and scooters in past, but nothing like this.)
Next year, I will have the confidence and experience to take it the track. There I will have the chance to freely enjoy the power of this bike. Traffic in Toronto is just crazy, and I find it impossible to enjoy riding in the city.
