Yamaha R7 - How many are still in one piece?

i haven't seen a single one in 10 years
 
A buddy of mine owns one in Edmonton, he had it less than 4hrs before he took it out on the track lol.
 
They still look good but outside of collectors I don't see the point. You could pick up a RSV4 Factory for the same money.

Wow, I think I know who he is :D probably on the R1 forum a lot eh?

I think they were never sold in Canada. From what I'm able to find, they seem to pop up in the states but not in Canada.

Yup, probably... his R1 is a beast too (front end alone is worth more than brand new 1000cc bike lol).
 
The content in that kijiji post has been taken out right out of Wikipedia page.

And nothing about the history of that specific bike?
