Hey all,

I have a '98 Yamaha YZF600R and I'm looking to buy some replacement parts for my bike and wondering if someone can clarify some things for me...

Seat - would a seat for a 99 model fit the same?

Muffler - would a muffler for a '99 fit the same?

I dont want a very loud exhaust (but at the same time dont want to be super silent that motorists cant hear me coming). Is there a such thing as a muffler silencer?

Flush mount turn signals vs non flush mount signals - which is better? Is there any drawback or downside of having flush mount signals?

Depends what you want. OEM signals are better in the sense that people can actually see them and therefore makes you safer. Flushmounts are nice if you want to look good while you ride. Up to you. Functionally, OEM is almost always better..aftermarket stuff can be cheap and not last long.

you can definitely get a silencer for a muffler, usually all the major exhaust brands will sell a slip on with a silencer and its up to you to put it on
