i have an 81 kawasaki kz550 just got my m1 i have had my G for over 10 years and i was quoted 2300 a year i got the bike for 500 bucks, can some one help me out its making me want to give up on the dream of riding a bike.

Yeap. Try State Farm or Riders Plus. Also just get basic coverage.
