wonder if he has ABS...

**** all the wheelies, stoppies, stunts, high speed riding, and twisties, THIS video is the epitome of motorcycle riding skill.

He read the situation, saw the white van coming up and eased off the throttle. He was hard on the brakes and pulled off one masterful stop. I need to bookmark this for future reference, and to show all the n00bs how wrong they really are.

Good brakes! I honestly don't know if I would of made that stop the same as this guy.

so this guy is good because he slows down at intersections checks his lanes and knows how to brake? if this is true i must be a god.

It didn't even look like he was going all that fast.

It's only impressive when you get sideways and the rear wheel lifts off the ground to make a last-inch-of-your-life stop

A real rider would have downshifted, gave her gas and went around the van on one wheel

How about fishtail the rear towards the curb and when the wheel makes contact with it, sends the bike flying over the van E.T style while rider has his one hand showing the driver of the van a little birdie and then lands Evil Knievel style (the successful landings...) and rides off like Ghost Rider and leaves a trail of flames behind him?

You should start threads about how to brake really well instead of how to drag a knee then...?

That's the awareness factor in its full glory. Off the throttle on the approach, ready on the brakes, and then the commitment. Its also knowing your bike and how it feels. This guy will ride for the rest of his life.

Plus I loved
"You're absolutely f*@#ing useless"
Loved it.

lol i agree, this is not some wonder...do you guys not look ahead while riding? the first thing i noticed was that white van...way way back, more than enough time to stop or whatever safely.

i would be rattled and prob got off the bike to yell at him.... Will the driver prob do it again....... Yes

I'd say you have to do stops like that once a month down town. He had quite a bit of time. Nice and smooth though.

Hahaha that would have been the more practical solution to the event. Some people just don't have the time anymore for these things.
