Its high % fee when receiving money. Buyer doesn't pay the fees, seller does.

Jesus christ NO. Do not accept PayPal for a transaction as large as a motorcycle. Especially not shipped! There are so many ways to scam via PayPal. The only way you could possibly protect yourself from having the money forcibly removed from your account would be to literally create a whole new bank account, add that to a brand new PayPal account, have them send the money, then withdraw it to that bank account, wait for it to clear, then turn it into a cashier's cheque, deposit that in your real account and completely close out the old one. The reason is if you withdrew to your real account, PayPal can just reach right in and take it back out if the other party issued some kind of reversal. You will be royally ****ed if you go through with this, I guarantee it.

Whats wrong with Paypal? Yes they do take a chunk of money.. but I just tell the buyer if they want to use Paypal, they have to pay the extra fees.. otherwise just use EMT
But im guessing you have an add on kijiji for a bike, and got an offer that too good to be true. You will get alot of those... tis just spam.. replying to those messages will just get you more spam.

Hey thank you for all of your feedback. I've never used Paypal but I thought it was fishy as well. Especially when they didn't say anything about coming to see it. I just thought it was very odd.

Even they can be fake. Meet during the day so you can call the bank that issued it (or go into a bank with the buyer) and verify that it's legit.
