Had my M1 exit test in Guelph this morning and passed no problem! Woo! Now I can ride on highways and at night! :D

Easy test... you have to point out all the controls he asks you about, then walk the figure 8, ride the slalom, then straight line turn around, straight line, brake.... but I'm sure you people already know that!

One guy out of 4 of us failed this part...why would you show up for this and not even practice at all?? Go to an empty parking lot and see if you can do a slalom before you do it for real... tester gave him 2 tries for the slalom and he couldn't do it. Hell even a guy on a harley made it through the slalom.... I felt for him though... but good news is he can always try again later! Funny part is when you fail the M1 exit, they are like ok here's your M1 back keep riding on the roads even though you can't ride very good. LOL

After that part of the test, it's onto the road! Turn left, turn left again, go into a parking lot, come back... turn right, then a left, into another parking lot, back down, another right into the parking lot you started in and that was it!

Congratulations!

Now get out there and get some seat time.

You might also want to check out a riding schools curriculum and practice some emergency manoeuvres such as threshold braking, swerve to avoid and stopping on a curve.
 
Thank you! I've put over 7000kms on my bike since I got it in September last year.... lol No shortage of seat time! :D

What I really want to try is a superbike school... I heard Shannonville offers a pretty decent package, bike included!
 
The Fast riding school is awesome. Take phase 1 and 2 back to back if you can.

Racer 5 offers an inexpensive solution.

Had to take it twice - since they didn't test in November/December, when I would have been eligible - but I figured I'd get a few months of riding in before winter came and I was able to do just that! :D
 
Nice man congrats. My M2 expires in July I need to get upgraded ASAP! I can't decide whether to take a course or just go to the ministry. I don't wanna fail the ministry test I don't know what they look for ..but the course will be $$$ for M. they could even all be booked up by now I really need to make up my mind!!
