Winter Riding Gloves

Looking for a cold 3-season (Fall/Winter/Spring) glove that offers enough insulation for the colder days (as low as -5) but not bulky around the palm, allowing throttle feel and for heated grips to do their work.

Any suggestions? What's everyone using?

(PS: Currently looking at KLIM Inversion Pro, but would prefer a gauntlet-style glove and something with a little extra protection, in light of the recent 'other' glove thread: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?176309-How-safe-is-your-pair-of-gloves-Pics )

I think even running non powered, they might be the best option.
Id try knox zero .
I use joe rocket nitrogen. Not really protective.

Not to be a downer but I don't think such a glove exists. Kinda depends on what speeds you go at too.
For city riding, you can get away with it. For highway... Not too bulky and able to keep your hands warm, especially at high speeds... The only thing that can do that is a heated glove.

Once the cold penetrates (and it will), your hands only get colder and colder.

I have a pair of these guys and they work okay for the city.
These also work well. Have both, can't really tell you which is warmer...

I use snowmobile gloves along with heated grips. The palms are thinner but keep me fairly warm.

I don't have heated grips but did install hand wind deflectors this year. Made a big difference. I use100 gm thinsulate gloves from Costco down to about the 10C range . I tried the Snowboard gloves from Costco but found the lining was too loose and wasn't too impressed warmth wise (possibly because of the lining I was gripping too tight). I bought a set of leather $20 thinsulate lined gauntlet gloves from Terez leather on the recommendation of her and other local bikers. Not sure what gram they are but they are thicker than the Costco 100gm. Down to 6C they were fine on a 1.5 hour ride which included some highway speeds. I bought them loose fitting and apparently they will work even better with a dollar store fleece glove / liner. I think these would work well with heated grips.

I don't plan on riding much below 5C so I might install the $5 Ebay heaters just for S%^ts and giggles.
.
The bike is parked in the garage for now so I will wait to see what the Bike show in January has to offer before I buy anything.
