Friday PM, no snow. Sunday AM.... this:

Started snowblowering at about 10am. My 2 year old snowblower made it one trip down the driveway then stalled and wouldn't start. Haven't figured it out yet. My 35 year old snowblower (that I'm trying to sell on Kijiji) started up and chugged along for about 3.5 hours straight to clear my snow and some of my neighbours' stuff.

My dog loves it! I enjoy it. Now I'm done so I watch football and eat chili.

Ha. Ya. I did that last night after taking the dog for a walk (Husky, he's loving every single snow flake) when there was only an inch or so on my car. In a few spots my snowblower was tunneling through the snow.

We're gonna have a cold one this season. Started early & getting consistently colder. I'm not complaining, we had a warm winter last year & a nice summer this year.

I didn't shovel this morning, just let the sun do the work. Worked out just fine

Bah.I wanted to play with my new Tacoma 4x4,but we only got about 1cm today.Oh well,i have to go get my Ossa in Dorchester next saturday.Maybe i'll get to play in the snow out there.

So far it had snowed twice in Barrie. Both times the 400 has ended up closed at highway 89. Yesterday claimed 40 cars, including a 15 car pile-up. Somebody even managed to rear end a boat, snapping the hitch off and sent it into 5 other cars.

Should be interesting to see what happens the rest of the winter lol

Have these people never heard of leaving adequate room to stop in case of an emergency?

To be fair, as with the boat for instance, 1 moron causes a crash that takes out 5 or 6 other cars.
