Has anyone been? My sis got me a gift cert for a half day F2000 experience which was pretty cool of her. The only kinda lame part is that most of the pics/videos on the site show a cone track setup in a parking lot :confused:. They do move locations throughout the summer, one of which is Mosport Park. Just wondering if they let you out on the track at Mosport or if it's still on painted lines.

{lol... I'm chuckling right now because I accidentally posted the wrong link above and relieved that I caught it in time (nsfw). Didn't catch it before I emailed it to my bud's though lol.}

My buddy did it..you will not be making use of the wings..

Pretty low speed I take it? I've been thinking about trying shifter karts too

I didn't get that much out of him really. My impression was there was a fair bit of prep..not much seat-time..only the RDT, not the big track..and pylon chicanes even then to keep the speeds down. F2000's have stupid amounts of grip at high speed..and accidents are not minor at those speeds at Mosport big track. Plus they're difficult to drive at the limit for the average person. So it's kinda neat..but you won't be pushing it. Having a go at a shifter kart would be infinitely more rewarding I should think.

EDIT: Not crapping on your outing by the way..I think it'd still be a neat experience to hack around in a real race car..so enjoy the time! Say thanks to your sis! :-)

Thanks man, appreciate the input. Having done some reading in the meantime, I've come to the same opinion but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. Sister thanked!
