Just bought a new mini laptop/netbook over the weekend, and it came with windows 8.
Im not liking it so much. Maybe it takes time to get used to but it just doesn't seem right in the head.

Im not liking it so much. Maybe it takes time to get used to but it just doesn't seem right in the head.

It takes time to get used to, I have used it for about 6 months now and I think it's awesome. There is a thread about it here somewhere.

Forget about the start button, just use your windows button to go to the app screen and then start typing whatever you are looking for will appear on the left.

Ditto.
Not a bad OS, just takes a long time to get rid of old habits.
Works best with a touch screen.
