If you don't call the moment you see it and aren't prepared to buy it within the next 12 Hours, it'll be gone.

My last bike I called 15 mins after it was posted. Complete fluke that I'd be looking at that time. Called the seller, they thought I was tech support for the ad because they just posted it and thought they did it wrong. 20 mins later I was on my way to see the bike. Done deal by dinner time.
 
kijiji rule number 1 , if its that good of a deal jump on it like a fat kid on cake , because by the time your done deciding that you want it someone will already to picking it up
 
Yup. All the ads that you see on kijiji that has lasted for days means the seller is smoking something. You will never see good deals unless you're the one that got it.
 
is that the one that has some rossi/italy stuff on it? if so i know who it is...they are selling to buy my bike ! woo lol

god i didnt realize that was the price!

however it did not sell yet, so if anyone wants it...
 
sometimes people post an ad, get 20+ responses in minutes then realize they put it up tooo cheap....take the ad down and you'll see it reposted a few days later.
 
10k @ $4300..but was it cert? how were the tires? fluids? any issues?

KMs is a good gauge of value...but might not mean its worth buying a bike at for $4300 w/10k is a wise long term investment.
 
05 with 10k? track bike anyone? hahah

Bought a 1985 Honda Nighthawk-S for $500 two years ago, sold it for $2500 last year.
Bought a 1997 BMW F60ST for $1000 three years ago, my Nephew is still riding it. (Like New Still)
Bought a 1990 Honda Hawk GT for $1000 two years ago, was offered $2000 before I ever got it off the truck, I still have it.
Bought my 2005 Yamaha Vmax with 3,000 miles on it last spring for $4300

The Deals are out there, but you have to be ready when you see them!
 
I've sold a lot of stuff on Kijiji, bikes included.

When the price is right, I've had things sold in less than an hour before I could even respond to all the messages and delete my ad!

Like the 06 636 with the hyperagressive seller...I swear that dude was on something. Or the 06 CBR600RR for 5k...he wouldn't let me come see the bike as soon as I started asking about why all the decals were missing and if it had ever been crashed

Except if it's something old 90% of the time the pics of it are 10 years old and it's a rusted pile of **** that they claim is in "like new" condition.

Or at least that's what all the old cars I looked at were.

There are so many more deals in the states than here in Ontario. Makes me cry when I see how cheap some bikes go for south of us.

Not bad at all. I don't mind the red rims but the flames are just horrible. I really don't understand how anybody can think they look good. To me they just look tacky and cheap.
