Who would borrow me a Triumph Crank Pinion Puller that fits a 1969 T100 ?

I got a '69 T100S undergoing resto here in Thornhill: same prob. No way for puller jaws to get behind gear...its supposd to be the same as 650/750 but I got behind my 750's pinion..... its so tight i wonder if even the puller you show- which still has to get behind the pinion to engage the teeth...will fit. Waldridge will have THE factory tool next week, they said-$58. It threads on the front of the pinion. Wanna go halfs, if neither of us can find one to borrow?

Is that the sprocket with two 3/8 whitworth holes? I remember just threading a piece of bar and using a larger bolt in the middle with two bolts into the two holes. But I might be wrong, worked on a lot of those Triumph/BSA/Norton thingies back then.

No, theres no flange surround the gear hub, just teeth. and the teeth extend to within a fraction of the case....its threaded on the outboard end for a puller, like a clutch hub puller, but internally threaded. And in the small world dept, I found this site while googling Tri pinion puller, and found Codemonks post. Geez! ANOTHER guy in te area workin on the same model. w/ the same problem! What are the odds?? Turns out "codemonk" is the guy Im building the bike for! So much for going halves on a Waldridge puller! HAR!!!

Advertise in the CVMG web site, someone will have one you can get for a period of time.
