Who loves their bike?

I'm riding around today fully farkled versys doing my errands as I so often do. Stop at stop sign and a nice street triple comes though from the other direction. Off I go admiring the triumph, but I get to thinking how much I love my bike. I can't think of another bike that would better suit my needs and I really love it. There are way faster bikes, way better looking bikes, and probably way "better" bikes, but at this point, none better for me. Who else loves their ride?

I'm still riding my first bike which I bought to learn so I could eventually upgrade to the bike that I WILL love. Having said that, it's not so much about the love of the bike for me, but rather the love of riding!

I love riding and love my bike too. Infact the gf caught me hugging my duc in the garage one day lol lol how embarrassing. Anyway the monster suits my character and style and that's why I love it

I agree I love my bike to where as I can't go a day without riding it!

I bought my latest bike after careful consideration giving up certain features (high tech, hard to work on, high performance) in exchange for autonomy and self actualization. I love the freedom that provides in mind and wallet. I wish I could find a woman like that.

I loved my FZ6 so much I thought people had to be idiots not to have one. Then along came the Street Triple and I got that, sold the fizzer, and I feel exactly the same way :)

Love what I'm riding too, kept my first bike only one season. Always had my eyes on the monster I have now. Didn't think with the bike but I always tell friends when buying a car, buy something you can look at n 3-5 years and still enjoy driving and most importantly looking at it. That's y I love my car too, had it for over 3 yrs now I still enjoy it doesn't give me any trouble.

Another one here. Had mine for six, seven years now. Sometimes I think of other bikes that'd be fun to ride now and then, but I can't imagine a bike more perfectly suited to me than the one I have now. Right in the sweet spot between old and new, large and small. It's beautifully engineered and rides great, perfectly suited to my style. Plus when you have a bike long enough you get used to all the quirks so they don't bug you.

Haven't sold ir traded the Tuono yet... six seasons and counting.

Love my bike too! Some days I want something different but I can't give up my current bike. Had my 'baby' since late '08 and we're still going :)

I've loved almost all my vehicles except for the 2.0 2001 Jetta I had and the WRX I have now. The 1991 Toyota Tercel was too low on power and broke a lot but it still has a special place in my heart since it was my first car and I put a lot of effort into customizing the audio system myself (never bothered in anything since).

So far my favorite is between a 2001 Jetta TDI and my 1987 Porsche 944.
Loved my 1997 Saab 900se turbo but it cost me too much to fix (and ended up being unable to fix it so I sold it). Neat car because it had tons of utility but was also unique and very sporty.

Just picked up a 2009 Aprilia RS125 and so far I love the quirkiness of the 2 stroke. It needed a bit of TLC (mostly just cables and chain in bad need of adjustment) but fun little machine.
Rode my 2009 650R for a first time in awhile after riding the RS125 and realized I love it, too. Feels like a big comfy touring machine (even with sportbars) in comparison to the RS but still handles pretty lightly.

There's just something about the WRX I don't love. Can't put my finger on it. Maybe because it has too many annoying little things that are apparently considered normal for Subarus. Either that or the dealer is giving me bull but half the problems I look up everyone else has the same thing. Plus it just doesn't feel nearly as nice as any of the VW-related cars I've owned and driven. It is definitely nice in some snow (AWD) and when you get a chance to really spool it up but the feel in the transmission usually takes something away from the experience.

I loved my bike, first bike since i had a dirt bike when i was 15. Brand new 2013 CBR500R but its been in the dealership for 30 days now waiting for god damn parts.

I missed the best month of the summer so far... paying 600 a month just to ride not including what i pay for my car and i cant ride..

So im not sure i love THIS bike anymore but i do love to ride and will likely be getting something different for next season.

love my bike! never would have though I'd own a bmw and it's by far the most compliant and comfortable bike I've owned. It's not the best at anything but it's fantastic at pretty much everything and it's very reliable.

You can. They're called prostitutes. You own them while you pay your bills. Just like bikes with insurance, licensing, and maintenance. Plus you can trade for newer models whenever you like, just like bikes.

Maybe the fact it looks like a Ford Tempo with a wing bolted on? :)

Sorry, I just can't stand the looks of the WRX, I'm sure they are nice to drive.
