a fun scenario

If a Firetruck, Ambulance,Police car and Postal Truck all arrived at an intersection at the same time, all with lights flashing, and sirens blaring ( except the postal truck, they dont have such things ) who would have the right of way, and why ?

The police car, silly. He's the only one with a gun.

Wait... you said a postal truck, too?

Ambulance, they will either have someone in danger on their ambulance or on their way to pick someone up in danger.

Firetruck can just be responding to a false fire alarm and even if there is a fire doesn't mean anyone is harmed and the police are just on their way to a donut run, or they are late to their next radar trap (**********)

Usually the arrival of the first emergency vehicle is the fire truck, then the ambulance, somewhere along the line po po.
Reasons are for every 1 ambulance station there are 4 fire stations. 80% of calls made by fire are medical, then when the Paramedics arrive they are very helpfully assisted by the fire dept. Po Po arrive after coffee and doughnuts, therefore they are usually last.
I do speak from experience with my Ambulance calls.Used to do the ride alongs and was also a BTLS Instructor at Toronto.
Not sure where the postal truck was, sorry never really looked. That is unless the Patients Family/ friends etc went postal.lol.

talk about ruining a fun scenario...

OK I saw a similar thing in real life. I was working near the art gallery and a grubby wino had passed out on the sidewalk. Someone called 911 and police, fire and ambulance all showed up. The three responders were helping the old guy to the ambulance when his pants fell down.

Who has the responsibilty for pulling up his drawers? Is it law and order, medical or public safety?

Public safety for sure

I've seen similar scenarios and they'll usually all try their best to pawn the wino off on someone else.

The postal truck has the right of way always. One reason, it's federally regulated, the others are provincially. If you cause any crap with a postman or at a post office, you go to federal court which carries higher sentences.

Wrong on all counts

Correct.
Due to the fact, that the Fire truck will be the only apparatus to change the colour of the light before they even get there.

Yes, forgot that one. The guys I travelled with where either CC or level 3 so we only got the Delta calls. Even so, very rarely beat the Fire Dept. However did manage to beat the Post office.lol

irrelevant.

all respondants got to the intersection at the same time.

you could say that the firetruck is bigger, and can crush the police cars. however, bullets do more damage than water, Adavantage 5.0

postal truck "could" have bullets depending on the stability of the driver. Paramedics have no weaponry thats good from a distance

Something tells me the paramedics will be the last men standing. Their services will be needed after this deadly encounter
